Faces of Siberia is a charitable non-profit organization that is dedicated to orphans and children in need, in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia (1000 miles east northeast of Moscow). We were inspired to start this organization after adopting our son from the region in December of 2000. We witnessed countless situations that could be made better through donations and support. Our organization was established in the fall of 2002 and seeks private donations of needed clothing, shoes, medical items and equipment as well as cash contributions. We offer assistance to children's hospitals, and orphanages in the region on a case by case basis. Local shelters and schools that are also in great need are considered as well. The extent of operations will remain inside the boundaries of the former Soviet Union.

Faces of Siberia is registered with the State of Minnesota and the United States Internal Revenue Service as a non profit, and has attained 501 (3) c status. The confirming letter from the IRS is attached to this web site.
